Job description:
As an Enterprise Architect, you design and oversee the implementation of the organization's IT architecture. Ensure alignment with business goals, integrate new technologies, and optimize IT infrastructure. Collaborate with stakeholders to develop strategic plans and enhance system efficiency.
Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement Enterprise Architecture: Lead the creation and evolution of the enterprise architecture program, ensuring alignment with the organization’s strategic goals and objectives.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with business leaders, IT managers, and other stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into effective architectural solutions.
  • Define Technology Standards: Establish and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices to ensure consistency, quality, and interoperability across the organization’s IT environment.
  • Assess and Integrate New Technologies: Evaluate emerging technologies and their potential impact on the organization.
  • Recommend and integrate new technologies that enhance business capabilities and operational efficiency.
  • Oversee System Integration:
  • Ensure seamless integration of new and existing systems, applications, and services within the organization’s IT infrastructure.
  • Drive Innovation: Identify opportunities for innovation and improvement in the IT landscape. Promote and lead initiatives that drive technological advancements and competitive advantage.
  • Develop Architectural Models: Create and maintain architectural models, diagrams, and documentation that clearly articulate the organization’s current and future state architectures.
  • Ensure Security and Compliance: Implement and enforce security and compliance standards within the enterprise architecture.
  • Ensure all solutions meet regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
  • Provide Technical Leadership: Offer guidance and mentorship to IT teams and project managers on architectural issues, ensuring alignment with the overall enterprise architecture.
  • Manage Stakeholder Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring their needs and concerns are addressed in the architectural designs.
  • Conduct Architecture Reviews: Perform regular architecture reviews and assessments to ensure projects and initiatives are aligned with the enterprise architecture and strategic objectives.
  • Optimize IT Investments: Analyze and optimize the organization’s IT investments, ensuring efficient use of resources and alignment with business priorities.
  • Facilitate Change Management: Lead change management efforts related to architecture initiatives, ensuring smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Monitor Industry Trends: Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in enterprise architecture to continuously enhance the organization’s ITcapabilities.
  • Experience

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT architecture, systems design, or related fields, with a strong emphasis on enterprise architecture.
  • At least 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role within enterprise architecture.
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing enterprise-wide architecture solutions that align with business goals.
  • Strong technical background with hands-on experience in systems integration, infrastructure planning, and application development.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and enforce architectural standards, guidelines, and best practices.
  • Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF, Zachman, or similar methodologies.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor architectural and IT teams.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Relevant certifications such as TOGAF, CISSP, or CEA are preferred.
  • Experience in risk management, security architecture, and compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Required Criteria

    Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, systems engineering, or a related field is required.
  • Certifications such as TOGAF (The Open Group Architecture Framework), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), or Certified Enterprise Architect (CEA) are highly desirable.
  • Master’s Degree: A master’s degree in business administration, computer science, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
