Mission context:

You will work with:

  • Three QAs who are already working in the project (2 of them are fluent with automated tests)
  • Devops to help you setup the automated tests pipelines
  • Customer Success manager, fleet center officers and product owners
  • Developers

    • Three teams are involved and spread between Europe and Asia. You will report to the Director of Software Engineering based in Reykjavik, Iceland. Fluent english (both written & spoken) is a must have.

    Mission Objectives:

  • Ensure a version is validated before deployment
  • Guide testers: help them focus on critical modules of the application, help them to dig into a module
  • In the context of ISO9001, you will have to ensure to document the validation/testing process and more generally comply with/participate into the construction of the procedures.
  • Make sure the tests are relevant
  • Synchronize people (testers, CSM, product owners)
  • Be aware of the new features
  • Understand the requirements
  • Report issues regarding the testing process
  • Create a summary/dashboard of the status of a release candidate before deployment
  • Estimate priorities to prefilter tickets
  • Participate in the validation/testing process (log issues, manually test the application, write automated tests)
  • Include the onboard (desktop) application into the validation process
  • Able to talk to non-IT people (Fleet center) who monitor vessels and prepare routes for crews

    • Required Criteria

    Specific Competencies:

  • You have to be able to discuss with developers
  • Fluent with automated tests frameworks, ideally Robot framework
  • Fluent with SQL queries
  • Fluent spoken/written english
  • Ability to deeply understand new businesses and the purpose of the features being developed

    • Job requirements:

    Graduate of a bac +5 or an engineering diploma, you have minimum 7 years experiences in lead QA
